‘WebCyte2’ is a database listing chromosome counts of members of the family Gesneriaceae. It is based on the most recent classification of the family of Weber et al. (2013).
The database has two parts, a database searchable (by synonym or accepted name) for individual species displaying chromosome counts by genus or species, and a statistics section allowing the display of a graphical and tabulated summary of counts by various taxonomic levels (genus, subtribe, tribe, subfamily).
