This site has been created as a platform for the dissemination of the research into the Genus Elaeocarpus undertaken by Mark Coode over the past 20 years. There are two primary resources:

An interactive Key to the species of Elaeocapus originally created as a DELTA data set by Mark Coode and then translated into a form suitable for use on this site by Yiewi Dong in 2020 as part of her Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh  MSc dissertation project.

The second element of this resource is the image gallery which presents the images of Elaeocarpus specimens taken by Mark Coode during the course of his research.  For many of the specimens available for examination in the gallery, the image displayed will be the only online image currently avaible for that specimen.
